Full-picture B2B marketing and communications. Generalist by design.

Ten years across demand gen, brand, content, events, and comms. I'm as at home in a KPI dashboard as I am in a brand campaign.

Morgan Munger, Marketing & Communications Manager
About

Integrated marketing leader. Full funnel, not partial.

I'm a B2B marketing and communications pro with 10+ years of experience, and a generalist by design. My best work happens where marketing supports the entire business and communications keeps people connected. I own the whole picture: demand gen, brand, content, earned media, events, and internal comms. That range is deliberate, and it's the thread running through everything below.

How I work
I start with the whole system.

I like to understand how all the pieces fit together before diving into any one of them, so I'm thinking about the bigger context, not just my slice.

I turn partners into allies.

I credit the people I work with, ask before I assume, and treat other teams as collaborators rather than obstacles.

I stay calm and thorough.

I keep a level head when things get busy and catch the details others miss, and that steadiness tends to settle the people around me.

I stay curious on purpose.

I ask a lot of questions and stay open to a better idea than mine, because I'd rather keep learning than assume I have it figured out.

Approach

I led an integrated campaign across earned media, employee engagement, social, rebranding, and video, and produced a capstone awards gala. I led the 10-month commemorative book from concept through final print delivery, selecting the ghostwriter, running in-person interviews, preserving historical photos, and steering five major design revisions as the primary point of contact across every partner and vendor.

Result

A brand milestone that helped a century-old company hold its own against larger national players, gave 20+ branches across 10 states a story to tell, and left customers with a stronger sense of the brand.

Approach

I built the SEO program end-to-end, covering backlink strategy, technical SEO, and on-page optimization, and stood up Salesforce and Pardot marketing ops from nothing, managing the vendor relationship throughout. I also modernized the SEO strategy to incorporate Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), positioning the company to compete against larger national brands as search shifted to AI-driven answers.

Result

The program has delivered a positive return two years running, most recently 420+ leads and $100K+ in revenue at an 18% ROI, on a stack Sales actually trusted because I built the reporting alongside the funnel.

Approach

I built a company-wide program of monthly employee training, replies to every review, and multi-touch prompts, partnering closely with branch leadership and People Ops.

Result

Higher, more consistent ratings across 20+ locations gave local sales a stronger first impression to sell against.

Approach

I built relationships with trade and industry outlets and coached executives on thought leadership, partnering with technical and executive leadership on the story arc.

Result

That included a trade magazine cover story reaching decision-makers in our largest vertical, and the backlinks it generated strengthened our SEO at the same time.

Approach

I built and managed an end-to-end award submission pipeline, tracking open calls, deadlines, and planning across executive honors like 40 Under 40 and company awards like Top Workplaces, Best Family-Owned Business, and the PCT Top 100. When we won, I announced each achievement internally across our 20+ locations and wrote the press releases that turned the news into earned media and brand credibility.

Result

More than 15 recognitions across leadership, workplace culture, and industry rankings. The Top Workplaces wins became a recruiting asset in a competitive talent market, and a dedicated Awards & Recognitions page I created showcases the brand's full history.

Approach

I owned and produced the Super Meeting four years in a row, running the $500K budget end-to-end across vendor negotiations, category spend tracking, logistics, travel, and content approvals, in partnership with Finance and Sales leadership. I also ran the event's Annual Awards Gala and coordinated the employee awards program. For the three of nine awards based on internal nominations, I streamlined the process each year: the communications announcing that nominations were open, the reminders, the submission page I built, and collating every response for senior leadership to review and decide.

Result

Delivered on budget every year, with sponsorships covering more than half of total costs and attendance from 80%+ of the org plus external stakeholders.

    Communications Strategist
    • Named the Alfred H. Treleven III Home Office Champion, the company's annual peer-nominated award for the Home Office employee who goes above and beyond and best models its core principles. I earned it for completing the Salesforce and Pardot implementation and stepping in as interim Marketing Manager after the Director of Sales & Marketing left.

    • Led the 100-Year Anniversary brand campaign spanning earned media, employee engagement, social media, rebranding, video production, and a capstone awards gala for employees and external stakeholders. Within it, I led a 10-month commemorative book from concept to delivery, managing ghostwriter selection, in-person interviews, historical photo preservation, and five major design revisions as primary point of contact across all partners and vendors through final print delivery.
    • Defined and tracked KPIs across marketing campaigns, preparing ROI and performance reporting that informed leadership decision-making.
    • Conducted market research across major metro areas in the Western United States, delivering insights on buyer behavior, key commercial industries, SWOT analysis, and market trends to support and inform new business development.

Built the relationships behind it with media and industry outlets, and positioned the Treleven family's fourth-generation ownership as thought leaders through ghostwriting and executive social coaching, while strengthening SEO through backlink generation.
    • Produced the Super Meeting, the company's largest annual event attended by 80%+ of the organization plus external stakeholders; managed a $500K budget end-to-end including vendor negotiations, category-level spend tracking, and executive budget reporting; coordinated all event logistics, vendors, and travel; contributed to agenda development; and reviewed and approved all content and materials to ensure brand consistency; while securing sponsorships covering 50%+ of total event costs.
    • Owned the full internal communications infrastructure, including Town Halls, engagement surveys, the All the Buzz company newsletter, and internal email series; designed agendas and built final presentation decks for company-wide Town Halls and distributed recordings to field teams within two days to support accessibility and engagement.
    • Built automated content-review reminders in The Hive, the company intranet, prompting Home Office teams to refresh aging content so the field always worked from accurate, up-to-date material.
    • Took over company-wide price-increase communications from the billing team, automating parts of the process to reduce their workload while keeping customers clearly informed.
    • Helped the Quality Assurance team rebuild its internal reputation after low engagement-survey sentiment, rolling out and clearly explaining its new points-recovery program and annual audit standards to cut confusion.
    • Led a cross-functional initiative to build a company-wide intranet resource hub, partnering with department heads across every function to centralize critical employee information, giving a workforce spread across 10 Western states a single, accessible source for resources.
    • Strengthened team member engagement survey reporting in partnership with senior leadership, building year-over-year trend visibility by region and brand that improved decision-making and increased response rates annually.
    • Drove a range of employee experience initiatives with the People Operations team, including employee recognition programs, rewriting and rebranding the employee handbook for readability and brand consistency, and streamlining the benefits open enrollment process.
    • Owned end-to-end creation and distribution of monthly brand meeting decks, compiling content across departments to keep field teams informed and on-brand, and used them alongside Town Halls and the annual Super Meeting to reinforce annual company goals and themes and drive organization-wide buy-in.
    • Developed a new customer onboarding journey from scratch with the Customer Success team: a two-month, multi-touch email drip program covering account setup, product education, brand orientation, and a closing referral request.
    • Created and managed the company-wide Google review program, training employees monthly on best practices for generating reviews and replying to all customer reviews, increasing review volume by 50% in year one and 35% in year two while raising average brand rating from 4.1 to 4.8 stars across 20+ unique locations.
    • Streamlined the RFP workflow with Sales and Operations leadership, supporting end-to-end creation and submission while drafting and editing responses for clarity and brand consistency.
    • Served as dotted-line manager to two contributors and the lead onboarding and mentorship contact for multiple new hires, guiding them through company culture, processes, and performance expectations while directly contributing to team retention and capability building, and managed the summer intern class.
